OpenPosse

Talk to the AI assistants you already use.

Say a name and a request. OpenPosse works out who you meant, types it into their box, presses their Send, and reads you the answer. Your voice and your words never leave this computer.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

Nothing leaves your machine.

This isn’t a setting you have to find. OpenPosse was built so there’s nowhere for your voice to go. Every step of a turn runs on this computer, and a turn is a microphone, a page and an answer. There’s nothing else in it.

01ON DEVICE
Hearing you
Speech is recognised by a model that runs locally in Chrome.
02ON DEVICE
Working out who
Routing matches the names you gave, on your machine. No cloud AI decides.
03ON DEVICE
Summarising
Long answers are cut down to a sentence by an on-device model.
04ON DEVICE
Speaking
Each voice is synthesised here, on your own graphics chip.
05ON DEVICE
Remembering
Your assistants and recordings are kept in the browser’s local storage.
The only traffic is the assistant’s own page doing what it always does: you’re signed in to Notion, and Notion talks to Notion. OpenPosse only works on the sites you grant it, one at a time.
STAY IN THE FLOW

Every assistant is another tab. Every tab is a switch.

Asking a quick question sounds free. It usually means finding the right tab, opening the panel, typing, waiting, reading, then trying to remember what you were doing. Those small switches add up, and the time it takes to refocus afterwards is the part nobody counts.

With OpenPosse you ask out loud and keep looking at your own work. The assistant does its part on its own page, and you hear the answer without leaving yours.

~1,200
times a day the average worker in one study switched between apps and websites.
9%
of their working year, just under four hours a week, went on reorienting after those switches.
23 min
is how long it takes, on average, to get back to a task after being interrupted.

HOW A TURN WORKS

Other tools stop at dictation. OpenPosse presses Send.

Notion has an assistant. Breeze has one. Each has its own button, its own tab and its own text box. OpenPosse gives each of them a name you can say out loud.

ADD AN ASSISTANT

Show it once. Four steps, no code.

You teach OpenPosse an assistant by using it the way you normally do, while it watches. Nobody writes a selector.

1
Record this tab
Open the assistant’s page and press Record in the OpenPosse popup.
2
Open the assistant
Click its button or use its shortcut, the way you usually would.
3
Ask it something
OpenPosse notes where you type, what you press and where the answer lands. Then it asks two questions of its own to check.
4
Name it, pick a voice
Call it Ivan, Priya or whatever you like. Say that name and it answers.
WORKS WITH
Tested with these, and with any other assistant that has a text box and a Send button you can record.
